The JK0-0177NL is a high-performance, single-port (1x1) Gigabit (1000BASE-T) RJ45 Integrated Connector Module (ICM) from the proprietary PulseJack™ series. Engineered with an advanced internal architecture featuring 12 discrete signal pins and 4 isolated PoE+ power pins, the JK0-0177NL fully complies with IEEE 802.3at / IEEE 802.3bt specifications.
It provides up to 35W continuous power at the PSE site (15W–30W at the PD site) over 2 or 4 pairs while maintaining a robust 2250 VDC dielectric isolation. Featuring an industry-leading 350 µH minimum open-circuit inductance (OCL) verified under 20 mA line-side DC bias, the JK0-0177NL ensures zero core saturation in high-power PoE setups. Housed in a UL 94 V-0 flame-retardant thermoplastic body with MSL 1 rating, it is optimized for high-density networking hardware, IP security cameras, smart building controllers, and enterprise access points.

Most generic Gigabit ICMs are only rated for 11 mA DC bias under the legacy IEEE 802.3 standard. In real-world PoE+ installations, cable pair resistance imbalances can induce high DC loop offsets.
The Pulse JK0-0177NL guarantees a minimum 350 µH OCL at 20 mA DC bias, delivering nearly double the saturation margin of conventional connectors. This prevents inductance roll-off, stabilizes high-frequency return loss, and completely eliminates packet dropping or link flapping on long cable runs (up to 100 meters).
Unlike common integrated connectors that combine center taps on internal signal traces, the JK0-0177NL features an exclusive physical separation of 12 signal pins and 4 heavy-gauge PoE power pins.
Maintain an absolute clearance distance of ≥ 2.0 mm between the front-end line-side circuitry (chassis/shield ground) and the digital PHY side circuitry (logic ground) to pass 2250 VDC dielectric testing safely.
Because the module features an MSL 1 thermoplastic housing, it is ready for wave soldering straight out of the packaging. The recommended peak temperature is 260°C maximum for a duration not exceeding 10 seconds.
A: The primary difference lies in the operating temperature rating. The JK0-0177NL is specified for commercial temperature environments (0°C to +70°C). The JXK0-0177NL is designed with extended-temperature magnetic wire and potting to withstand industrial temperatures (-40°C to +85°C). Both devices share identical pinouts, footprint dimensions, and electrical turns ratios.
A: Yes. While the JK0-0177NL was initially targeted for IEEE 802.3at (PoE+) 30W delivery over 2 pairs (using line connections MX1 and MX2, or 15W using MX3/MX4), its internal 4-channel transformer geometry and dedicated 4-pin power extraction allow it to support up to 30W–80W power distribution across all 4 pairs under the newer IEEE 802.3bt standard.
A: When high DC currents flow through an Ethernet cable, resistance mismatches between conductor pairs generate an unbalanced DC bias across the transformer windings. The JK0-0177NL is guaranteed to maintain at least 350 µH of inductance with a 20 mA DC current bias applied, preventing magnetic saturation that could distort Ethernet differential signals and cause packet loss.
A: The standard 1CT:1CT turns ratio across all 4 differential channels makes the JK0-0177NL universally compatible with all leading current-mode and voltage-mode Gigabit Ethernet PHYs, including ICs from TI, Marvell, Broadcom, Realtek, and Microchip.
